Latest Size Reduction Technology

RETSCH has substantially extended the product range:

• First of all the CryoMill which sets new standards in cryogenic grinding. This mill is particularly safe due to an autofill system for the liquid nitrogen and achieves very fine grind sizes even after short grinding times.

• The new cutting mill SM 300 features a powerful drive with a high torque and can be perfectly adapted to application requirements thanks to its variable speed. Moreover, the grinding chamber can be quickly and easily accessed for cleaning: the housing is simply folded back and the push-fit rotor removed.
  
  
• Another highlight is the new GRINDOMIX GM 300. This knife mill homogenizes up to 4.5 liters sample material within seconds with excellent reproducibility. One of its many benefits: the grinding tools are autoclaveable.

The product line of sieve shakers was also extended and now includes a suitable instrument for practically any bulk material. No matter if the material is very fine and tends to agglomerate or rather coarse, such as construction materials, RETSCH offer the perfect solution:

• The new 3-D sieve shaker AS 450 separates up to 20 kg of sample material in a single run and provides excellent separation efficiency thanks to amplitudes which can reach up to 2.2 mm.
  
  
• The air jet sieving machine AS 200 jet is designed for sieving light materials in the lower micron range quickly, gently and reproducibly.

Retsch Technology present the product study CAMSIZER XT. This instrument will be suitable for high-resolution measurement of powders and suspensions in a range from 1 µm to 3 mm.
